A mantra is a sound, syllable, word, or group of words that are considered capable of creating spiritual transformation. Their use and type varies according to the school and philosophy associated with the mantra. Mantras originated in the Vedic tradition of India. In the context of the Vedas, the term mantra refers to the entire portion which contains the texts called Rig, Yajur or Saam.
Mantras have a vast level of usage and application starting from issues such as fulfillment of desires, attaining material prosperity, curing of disease, to higher applications of intellectual and spiritual development ultimately leading to self realization.
The mantra chanting stimulates the body cells, rejuvenates the body, mind and soul. Chanting helps in eliminating the toxins from body and mind. Vibrations of mantra chanting goes all the way to the root cause of the disorder and eliminate it from the system. At a higher level it calms the mind and nourishes the emotions.
The primary objective of the Foundation has been to conduct fundamental and applied research on an ongoing basis. The findings of these researches have been translated into tenets that can be applied in preserving and promoting health.
